SUNSHINE AWARD

Hey animators! I’ve been nominated by the awesome author and fellow animator, SindyBlue10! I’ve seen the award around other blogs from time to time, but I didn’t think at all I’d be nominated! I’m truly thankful and grateful for the nomination!

1.What is your favorite type of anime/manga genre and why?

I’m not sure if I have one, though most of my favorite animes are usually some type of combination of Action, Adventure, Super-Power, Fantasy, and Comedy. I can’t say I have a favorite though because I’m always looking to watch animes from genres I maybe haven’t watched as much. My favorite one is the next one I’m watching! 😉

2.What is the one place you absolutely must/want to visit and why?

(Sorry my inner Disney nerd is about to come out!) DISNEY WORLD IN SHANGHAI! Although it doesn’t open until 2016, I’d love the chance to go over and get to see it. Being a former Disney Cast Member I’d love to go see the new additions and the additions they brought from previously built parks. If not Shanghai then definitely Tokyo Disney!

3.Does anime/manga inspire you and why? Any favorite or inspiring quotes you especially like?

I do get inspired quite a bit from anime and manga. I guess it’s mainly whenever I’m down or no having the best of days, I like to think of some good anime quotes and characters to bring me right back up. Even on a good day I’ll do this sometimes. It also inspires to do quite a bit of blogging! I guess what mostly inspires me are the characters. Especially those characters that have a goal and will do absolutely everything in their power to achieve it. I also see inspiration in the characters that are ambitious that won’t let anyone stop them no matter how powerful, and the characters that always seem to have a smile on. It inspires me to be the best I can be, put forth my best, and always try to be smiling!

4.What do you think of the anime that is currently coming out these few seasons?

I think there is some good anime currently coming out. A lot sometimes take to similar plots or themes, but their still fun watches. Their also always those animes really end up being an awesome watch!

5.How often do you watch anime and read manga?

Usually once I’m done with everything for the day (work, school work, running, blogging), if it’s not too late I’ll watch an episode or two of the anime I’m watching. It really just depends on the day. If I have nothing going on, I’ll spend a couple hours watching anime. Manga I’m really on and off with for some reason. I’ll go like a week of not reading, then like a month reading, and then a month not reading. I’m not sure, I guess it depends also if I’m focusing more on reading a book I picked up!
