Howdy Animated World!
I know it has been quite a while! I didn’t want to do a normal What’s Up Animated Post because this post isn’t really meant to be an update pertaining to blog content. I’ll clear that up now that I am still blogging and will still be active on here and on Twitter. However, I have two more weeks of summer classes (which I somehow decided it was a good idea to take 3 labs and 1 lecture in 6 weeks :)) so it’ll be a little more time till I get back to regularly posting.
Anyways, I wanted to write a blog post just to share a little bit of what I’ve been up to in this past month off the blog. Just a little catching up post more than anything. I’ll do my best not to ramble too much. 🙂
Busy, Busy!
Like I said, I’m two weeks away from finishing off my six-week period of summer classes. I decided to throw myself into three labs and one lecture, which actually has not been as bad as it sounds. I’m having a lot of fun in my labs. We’re finally working with real world engineering scenarios! Like on Tuesday we’re doing a lab involving radiation in one of my labs. I know I’m going full engineering nerd here, but I won’t lie I’m excited. The only down-side to these labs is each weekly report has been around 30-45 pages… for each one them. Yup that’s 90-135 pages totaling all the reports. You can see why I haven’t been able to type much on here XD. Despite the long reports, I’m really enjoying the labs.
I Retired!
No, not from blogging. Two weeks ago, I officially retired from running at my University! It was definitely time as work from classes was beginning to just be too much. Those 6am practices were starting to really take a toll of me, and I did have quite a having groin injury all season. I felt with engineering senior design year requiring my full focus for the next two semester, I needed to stop running in order to give my best toward my project. I’m not sad though, I’m really fortunate and grateful for a hell of a career that ended up somehow me going to university on a scholarship. Only 2% of high school athletes go on to receive a scholarship at the college level so I’m very grateful for the journey!:)

I went to Pandora!
Alright so Disney’s Animal Kingdom opened Pandora the land of Avatar last weekend. Yes, if you’ve been following me long enough I’m a Disney junky. However, by chance, I ended up in Disney World last weekend. It was actually to celebrate a friend’s birthday and we just so happened to be there for the opening of Pandora. I won’t say too much because I’ll most likely have to write a blog post on it so I don’t ramble. All I have to say though is, I waited four hours to ride a Banshee…. and it was damn worth it!
DnD
Last little thing I wanted to talk about is I joined a DnD campaign! Two of my friends we’re hosting it with two of their friends so I decided to join! It’s really fun even though I’m still quite a newb at it. Like seriously every time some tells me to roll a D-10 I just stare blankly at all the dice.. every.. single.. time. It’s actually kind of funny considering I’m the healer for our group of heroes. Yup the healer is the least experienced player :D. But I love the responsibility and have managed to keep everyone alive so far! I actually play tomorrow so maybe I’ll share a bit of our adventures here on the blog!:)
Other than that, it pretty much been squeezing in the usual Overwatch and anime between work for classes. So yup, overall everything is going pretty well. 🙂
*On a complete random note, this is the first blog post I use using Samsung’s Dex that turns the S8 into a desktop…. this thing is so freaking cool*
